M U S T E R M A N N .
My bestfriend who writes for ELLE Germany sent me the most recent ELLE of June 2011. She wrote a damn good story about Mr. Right or what you thought was Mr. Right (from pages 76-79).
It’s something that will help heartbroken ones to let go of someone, but I found another meaning just for myself - a happy bunny with someone ^_-
Everyone has a specific guy in mind, whom they define as their Mr. Right.
If you get into a relationship with that guy, you’re one lucky woman.
However, whenever that kind relationship comes to an end, it breaks your heart, you turn into Bridget Jones, you don’t want to let go, but then eventually you will realize that he wasn’t Mr. Right after all.
In other words, it’s a good thing you broke up, because through him, the so-called Mr. Right, you learn a bit more about yourself and what you’re looking for .
A big part of the story is about a guy named David. I had to grin from ear to ear, because thats my boyfriend’s name.
First of all, I have to admit, that was kind of irritating too. She wrote about Paul, hot nights with David, New York, new fashion label, leaving the country - everything she wrote felt like it was coming straight from her heart. The way she described the characters in her story felt so real. A true story. But then maybe not? I guess, this irritation is something someone will eventually feel if you know the writer and her real stories. But maybe she was talking about my own stories? Melanie, you are a damn good writer!
No, no, wait a minute. Is she talking about my ex-boyfriend?!
My imagination went crazy and I had to reread everything out loud. Twice.
However, I think I got the message! Or at least I found one for myself.
I’ll simplify: If it’s not real love, let go and just say “next!”. Be patient until Mr. Right comes along.
But keep in mind, if it is real love, then don’t let go!
Ok, here we go: Imagine yourself comparing each guy with your so-called Mr. Right. One day, out of nowhere, you fall in love. Truly, madly, deeply in love. You entirely forget your so-called Mr. Right. Wouldn’t you follow your heart, give all your love and do everything to be with him?
I found that guy.
But he left Korea.
And I’ve reserved tickets.
I guess you can imagine now what’s going to happen next?
