Something you’ve never seen before!
As promised the photos and a new video upload on my YouTube channel.
It all took place last Saturday in JiHee’s office.
It’s 3:07 am and I’m very last minute with this post.
I just got back from a fun barbeque. We were grilling all sorts of meat on a roof top near Namsan Tower. The sunset was beautiful, everyone and everything seemed to be ready for a photoshoot. Nobody complained, so I took 2 full films in about 2 hours! I’ll get them developped tomorrow, after visiting JiHee at her launching party ^_^
I met JiHee the first time when we went out to see BigBang at CorsoCosmo.
We met again during Seoul Fashion Week and I randomly looked through her photos on her digital camera, then found a photo of her stylish office. I asked her what her job was, and she timidly said: “I design clothes for dogs…”
That made me love her even more. I think it’s one of the coolest jobs out there. I LOVE dogs. And I admire everyone who makes their passion their job!
JiHee has some really good plans going on, she’s not just beautiful but smart as well - a killer combination!
I’m so excited about tomorrow, I have a feeling it’s going to be adorable.
I better head to bed now though, as the PINUP DOG launching party will start at 11 am. So to make this post complete, JiHee was so kind to answer a few, quick questions.
What inspired you to get into fashion dog design?
I have 5 dogs in my house. And I always want good clothes for them. So I started to design myself.
How did you come up with the name Pipup Dog?
Pinup girl is always fun, funky and sexy.
I chose that concept for my dog clothes and it’s a symbol for my brand.
What do you hope to achieve with the brand?
I want to show people that dog fashion can be a high fasion as well.
Not just penny looking clothes.
Even people who don’t live with dogs.. when they see a dog wearing our product, I want people to get a smile on face and have a fun moment.
What’s the most exciting thing about your work right now?
When people see our product and say they have never seen this before.
What do you do during the day?
I go to the office 9:30 -7:00 where I design and do directing.
How would you describe your own fashion style?
I have sense of humour, I like to keep it attractive with a modern chic look.
Where is your favorite location in Seoul?
I like Garosugil.
What I like most about Garosugil is that there are many good shops.
What’s your favorite place on earth?
I like Paris and NY.
I like cities.
If you were on a sinking ship with your boyfriend and one of your dogs, you can save only 1, who would you pick? ^_^
I would pick the human, because dogs are supposed to be good swimmers, hehe.

I’m not really sure when this video was taken. However, I’m very amused by the footage, I mean you can tell it was a lot of fun to hang out with them that night.
To my shame, I have to admit that I do not even remember half of it. I couldn’t make it out of bed before noon either.
Oh well, we’re young and should live our lives to the fullest.
First of all, we need a cab. Catching a cab isn’t as easy as it always seems to be..
How to get a taxi in Korea?
-We have to earn it.
Without great physical exertion, we’ll never get a cab.
Excuse my french, but it’s such a pain in the A**.
Eventually we got one, and headed to Hongdae.
We enjoyed some streetart. I just googled if anyone else agrees with me, but the first one listed is a picture taken by me ^_^ I swear, there are loads of great streetart in Hongdae!
We had some Samgyupsal..
..and all the side dishes that goes with it.
As dinner was served, I listened to the English guys make fun of Germans. It’s a never ending story..
To make the night perfect, we always need a fight.
Our next stop was Barfly in Sinchon. It makes some of us get all excited..
