Welcome to 2013! I hope you had an amazing Xmas

and an awesome new years eve!

I spent my winter holidays in Germany, and it was lovely to spend some quality time with my good old friends.

Also, I got to see my lovely sister again and drink one of my favourite drinks, mulled wine!

Friends Forever

My besties and I meet up for our traditional dinner a few days before or after Christmas ever since we left school and moved to places far, far away from each other. At this years Christmas dinner, on the 23.12.2012, we made a vow. In 2019 we will celebrate our 20 years of friendship! We will organize a huge party in our “greatest-casa-snob-like” house…(check out my Pinterest collection of Casa Snob examples).
But if we do not have a “show-off” type of house by 2019, then we will just travel together in style. I can’t wait! Just 6 more years left until the celebration! We are all split up and do not live in the same cities at all… but I stubbornly believe that distance doesn’t matter, because at the end of the day, we’re all under same sky.
Cheesy, but true?

The Wedding.

I shot my first ever wedding video. It has been 2 weeks since the wedding! I can’t believe how fast time flies by. There are just too many video editing work to do and not enough time to do it.. Might have to start rising my rates now :P
Hmm.. Using dubstep in a wedding video won’t work, will it? Send me your cheesy tunes please (if you have some). Without the perfect song, you can’t edit the perfect wedding video. That’s niciseoul’s filmschool tip #102, write it down.
David was pretty exhausted by the end of the day. Who wouldn’t be, after taking 1000 photos of 10000000 new put-together-groups? For instance: brides and the bridesmaids, brides and the girlfriends, groom and his mates, groom and all the male members of his family, bride and all the female members of his family…
Is that how wedding photography is supposed to work!?
Oh well, it’s our first wedding ever, so we don’t really know. But I sure did amuse myself quite well ^_^
Anyways, in the end all that counts is that the bride and groom are happy!

GERMANY SUMMER HOLIDAYS 2012!
It has just begun, but it feels like I’ve been here since a month..
Perhaps the best thing about being back in Germany is to be able to hang out with my sister again ^_^

Can you believe those photos were taken in London?

Beautiful roses in pink, red, yellow, white and so on, the roses garden between the Buckingham Palace and Hyde Park is so colourful and a beautiful place to spend a lazy, sunny afternoon.
At some point we took a break and had our chocolate treat, thats when we observed how the others were enjoying the garden. They were sniffing each rose, saying “wow, this one is even better”… ^_^
We didn’t think of doing that, Larissa and I were just walking around taking photos and videos.

Did I mention how I love roses? This might be one of my most favourite quotes:
“I’d rather have roses on my table than diamonds on my neck.”
